Piercing Aftercare
You have just been professionally pierced with the utmost care to insure that your piercing will last. The care and maintenance of your piercing after you leave the premises is solely up to you. Follow these simple care instructions and your piercing will heal quickly and correctly:
NAVEL * NIPPLE * TRAGUS * EAR * CARTILIDGE
Your new piercing must be cleaned three to four times a day with BACTINE antiseptic. In addition to Bactine the use of a sea-salt mixture (1 table spoon to 8oz warm water) or H2Ocean Aftercare Spray will aid in the healing and should be done as often as possible. You may develop a crust around on or around the piercing which should be removed prior to cleaning either in the shower or with a wet Q-tip. Only while the piercing is wet, may the jewelry be moved or rotated. You can expect some redness or soreness around the piercing for the first three to seven days.
NOSTRIL * EYEBROW
These piercings are to be cleaned in the same method mentioned above. Some people with nostril and septum piercings have sensitivity inside the nose to Bactine. In its stead the sea salt or H2Ocean mixture should be used more often when cleaning these piercings. While cleaning eyebrow piercings always use a Q-tip to avoid getting Bactine in your eye.
The healing time for your new piercing greatly depends on the care you take during the healing process. Always use clean hands when touching your piercing and do not allow anyone else to touch it until healed.
